Following her excellent Linlithgow Jazz debut in 2022 where she performed her Billie Holiday show, we’re delighted to welcome back singer Mary May and her band for another night of great music.
Mary has performed at jazz festivals, clubs and theatres all over Scotland for the past 20 years. From Billie Holiday to Billy Joel, Mary sings bossas, ballads and blues from the American Songbook and beyond, with arrangements by long-time collaborator, bassist Ray Leonard. Joining Mary and Ray are Steve Grossart on piano, Dan Shearer on drums and the ever popular Martin Foster on saxes.

The fun takes place in the Queen Margaret Hall (see the About section for details) and doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, running till around 10pm. Don’t forget the night is BYOB (and glasses, and snacks etc), so stock up, or give yourselves time to nip across the road to the supermarket! Tea/coffee is available at the interval.
