Festive Sextet – Saturday 10th December

Long term regulars at Linlithgow Jazz will know that in 2018, we started a happy tradition of our December event – combining the house band with the astonishing talents of Colin Steele and Seonaid Aitken (which amazingly was the first time they had played together!).

We all had soo much fun that we did it again in 2019 and then all put the date in our diaries for 2020 (cancelled by YouKnowWhat), then 2021 (ditto) – but now, finally, we can do it again!

A couple of changes to the house band of course – this year our regulars Sue McHugh (vocals) and Jimmy Taylor (bass) will be joined by Dave Swanson (drums) and the inimitable Brian Kellock on keys.

Add to that Colin Steele on trumpet and Seonaid Aitken on vocals and violin, and this is sure to be a wonderful evening when anything might be possible! The snow machine is being dusted off and the Santa hats steamed, all we need is for you to put on your finest and come and join us!

Tickets are £15 and are available from Far From The Madding Crowd (20 High Street, Linlithgow) and online at Eventbrite: but they’re unlikely be around for long so. if you want to join us, please don’t delay!

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE – Saturday 10th, which rather than being the usual first Saturday of the month, is the SECOND Saturday of December!
