Following April’s unexpected – but successful – decampment to the Lowport Centre, we’re back in our normal Queen Margaret Hall for the very welcome return of Sergio Prazeres and his Bossa Trio.
They last played here two years ago in a very enjoyable evening so we can expect more of the same. Singing in his native Portuguese, Sergio totally captures the feel of Brazilian music and Nick Gould on tenor sax and Kevin Dorrian on percussion add an extra warmth and rhythm. Close your eyes and you could almost imagine you were on holiday somewhere warm and relaxing…
Tickets are available now in Far From the Madding Crowd and online from TicketSource.
As ever, the fun takes place in the Queen Margaret Hall (see the About section for details) and doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, running till around 10pm. Don’t forget the night is BYOB (and glasses, and snacks etc), so stock up, or give yourselves time to nip across the road to the supermarket! Tea/coffee is available at the interval.
