We’re delighted to welcome back old favourites Jerry Forde’s New Phoenix Jazz Band for our June show.
Jerry and his merry band of troubadours always go down well here and it’s lovely having Jack Wilson on drums – those of you who used to come to Linlithgow Jazz Club back in the old days will fondly remember Jack as a teenager playing drums in the West End Jazz Band!
Jerry (double bass) will be joined by Dick Lee and Martin Foster on reeds, Phil Adams on banjo and guitar, Jack on drums, Lorne Cowieson on trumpet and Christine Adams on vocals.
Tickets are on sale in Far From The Madding Crowd, 20 High Street and online at TicketSource.
As ever, the fun takes place in the Queen Margaret Hall (see the About section for details) and doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, running till around 10pm. Don’t forget the night is BYOB (and glasses, and snacks etc), so stock up, or give yourselves time to nip across the road to the supermarket! Tea/coffee is available at the interval.
