Swing 2026 with Martin Foster – Saturday 7th November

We had a wonderful performance from Anna Vanosi and her band in October, great songs delviered with top class vocals and instrumentalists. After our October show and Anna Vanosi’s exuberant energy, we’re calming things down again for November with one of our most popular and long-standing bands.

Swing “insert year here” have been around for decades and have had long-running Edinburgh residencies in the Malt Shovel and now in Divino Enoteca. Always melodic and swinging, they’ll probide the perfect antidote to a – probably – cold November evening.

Led by JJ Russell on rhythm guitar and vocals, Swing 2026 feature the brilliant Ross Baird on lead guitar and the solid, always entertaining Roy Percy on bass. And their special guest for this performance is Martin Foster who is no stranger to Linlithgow Jazz and is a great addition to any band. Hopefully he will bring his usual fine and large selection of reed instruments with him !

Tickets are on sale in Far From The Madding Crowd, 20 High St, Linlithgow and TicketSource.

As ever, the fun takes place in the Queen Margaret Hall (see the About section for details) and doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start, running till around 10pm. Don’t forget the night is BYOB (and glasses, and snacks etc), so stock up, or give yourselves time to nip across the road to the supermarket! Tea/coffee is available at the interval.
