On Saturday 3rd September – after a delay of nearly 2.5 years – we are at last able to welcome Iain Ewing and Colin Steele with their Skylark show.
With these two excellent musicians and featuring the songs of Hoagy Carmichael and Johnny Mercer, this was already going to be a brilliant night, but there is a slight amendment to the original format.
Pianist Euan Stevenson has now relocated to London and is busy playing with rising Scottish star, singer Georgia Cécile, so a substitute piano player had to be found. So we’re doubly excited to tell you that Brian Kellock will be joining Iain and Colin for this show!
The incomparable Kellock has been at the top of his game for decades and can have your feet stomping and your heart pounding for one one song, then tears rolling down your face when he then play a sublime ballad. Oh, and bassist Roy Percy is also joining in the fun!
