Sue McHugh Festive Sextet
with guests
Saturday 7th December –

Last year we had our house band with two very special guests for our Christmas party…
it went down very well we decided get the DreamTeam of Colin Steele and Seonaid Aitken back again.

Seonaid is an extremely talented musician, sought after for her arrangements, playing (in orchestras, quartets, shows). But she is better known to us as leader of Rose Room, where she plays gypsy violin like Stephane Grapelli and sings like an angel.

And of course Colin Steele, arguably Scotland’s top jazz trumpeter and a regular visitor to Linlithgow Jazz brings his own special magic to any setting, whether accompanying a singer, playing in a large ensemble or leading his own Quintet.

Providing the rhythm section and additional vocals will be Jim Clelland on piano, Jimmy Taylor on bass, Ken Mathieson on drums and Sue McHugh on vocals.

We sold out last year and had to turn away a lot of people and it looks very likely to sell out again – Far From The Madding Crowd are now out of their allocation. There are a few tickets still on Eventbrite but they will go fast – you can also check the Linlithgow Jazz Facebook page for updates.
