On Saturday 5th October, a fabulous guitar-based band from Glasgow make their Linlithgow debut.
Nossa Bossa play beautiful music with skill and feeling and display an obvious love and respect for Brazilian music and culture.
Angela Higney (vocals) and Pete Parisetti (guitar) take us on a voyage of discovery into the mesmerising world of Brazilian music – from bossa nova classics and lesser-known gems all the way to the upbeat and sophisticated jazz-infused songs of Brazilian popular music. With the mellow tones of Stuart Drever on jazz guitar and drummer extraordinaire Bill Kettle, Nossa Bossa features special guest Nick Gould on tenor saxophone.
Tickets – £10 – are on sale online at Eventbrite or in person at Linlithgow’s bookshop Far From The Madding Crowd (20 High Street). (We should also have some available on the door on the night, but best to buy in advance!)
As ever we’re at the Queen Margaret Hall, 7pm doors for a 7.30pm start. Tickets £10 in advance in person at Far From The Madding Crowd, 20 High St, Linlithgow, or online at Eventbrite.
