Lorna Reid Quintet, Saturday 1st March 2025

In March, we have popular Edinburgh singer Lorna Reid joining us for her Linlithgow Jazz debut.

Lorna is a regular feature at the Edinburgh International Jazz & Blues Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and award-winning Jazz Bar, where she plays to packed houses.

International touring includes recent invitations to RochesterNY International Jazz Festival, a tour of Germany with gypsy jazz guitarist Lulo Reinhardt, and regular appearances at London music hot spots, Lorna has enjoyed co-writes with leading writers including Boo Hewerdine, Nashville writer Darden Smith, leading Scottish composer/guitarist Neil Warden, London musician and acclaimed journalist David Sinclair and Glasgow’s ‘dust-bowl-blues’ singer-songwriter, John Alexander.

But tonight is all about the jazz! Lorna is joined by four of Scotland top players – Campbell Normand on keys, Andy Mitchell on bass, Jim Drummond on drums and the inimitable Konrad Wiszniewski on tenor sax.

“Sultry jazz and blues in her slick vocal style” – Time Out London
